Vincent Schlageter, COO – Vincent developed the first Motility
Tracking System MTS1. Formerly senior assistant in the department of
physiology (UNIL) and in the department of visceral surgery (CHUV) he
has extensive experience in gastrointestinal motility: clinical studies
in adults and children, animal research and electrostimulation of the
colon. Vincent holds a MSc and A PhD in microengineering from EPFL and

Michel Demierre, CTO – Michel has a strong background in electronics
and position measurement. He received his MSc in micro-engineering from
the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), in 1996.
In 2003 he obtained from EPFL his PhD degree on Hall microsystems. Then
he joins the Institute of Physiology, University of Lausanne. His interests

Pavel Kucera, SAB Chairman – Pavel Kucera was born 1940 in Czechoslovakia.
He obtained doctoral degree in 1963 at the Medical Faculty of the Charles'
University in Plzen, Czechoslovakia, where he continued research and
teaching in pathophysiology until 1968. Then he moved to the Institute
of Physiology, Medical Faculty of the University of Lausanne, where he
was made ordinary professor in 1982. His expertise is in cell and organ
physiology and his research, although mainly fundamental, is closely
linked to pathophysiological and clinical problems. His projects aim
to answer concrete questions concerning mechanisms, diagnosis and treatment
of diseases in the domains of urology, gastroenterology, cardiology,
and neurology. He participates in several multicentric collaborations
with clinicians, biologists, physicists, chemists, engineers and with
